Fostering relationships between clinical research and the healthcare industryTo successfully deliver patient benefits and translate IGT technology to the point of care, IGT Network+ engages with a multitude of healthcare industry partners.
Industrial stakeholders benefit from the network’s activities by having access to world-leading research, and so being in a position to acquire or negotiate first options on academic ideas and developments. Secondment of our researchers to industrial collaborators will directly benefit the healthcare industry, especially where this can be a mechanism for transitioning EPSRC-funded research into clinical translation.
IGT Network+ encourages an entrepreneurial spirit among members and supports the creation of spin-offs involving established business units across the network partnership, benefitting from mutual experiences and expertise in incubation, seed fund generation and IP management.
